FAQ
If you do not see an answer to your question here, please contact us.
A: This is the question every one asks most often. I wish there was a cut and dry answer but each project is different. What I can tell you is what's included in the cost.
Paint and clear are the biggest material expenses. Then you have sealer, duraglass, bondo, paper, tape, plastic, sandpaper, plastic prep, primer, adhesion promoter, buffing compound, polishing glaze, and a lot of labor. Some or all of these items may be used to ensure a good quality paint design.
Even with everything that's involved we have the most reasonable costs in the US since we are located near the RV capitol and we strive to keep our overhead costs down.
A: We ask that you allow at least 1 week for LOWER BODY or PARTIAL paint designs and up to 3 weeks for FULL BODY paint if the coach has been painted before or has vinyl graphics on it.
A: Quality takes time. We don't rush through any process. We want to be sure that the final result is something you will be proud to own. Your home may be done sooner but this time frame allows for any and all possible situations.
A: We are unable to allow anyone to stay in their coach while it's being worked on but we are very close to many hotels and the Elkhart Campground is right down the road. We will work with you to arrange lodging or drive you to or from a location. We do our best to accomodate people while we work on their home. You are always welcome to come to our shop and check on your home or access it if you need something.
Q: What type of paint do you use?
A: We only use quality Dupont paint to ensure that, should the need arise, you would be able to take your home to any local shop for repair without additional concern regarding availability of the type of paint originally used. Dupont is available throughout the US and overseas. We also provide each owner with a small bottle of paint for minor touch ups and each bottle is labeled with the factory color and Dupont color for easy reference.
Q: What type of paint process do you use?
A: We use a two(2) stage paint process. This involves a base and clearcoat separate application. The base paint colors are applied to the coach and allowed to dry. Then it is followed by several coats of clear to ensure a high quality shine. This protects your home from fading and allows minor scratches to be, simply, sanded and buffed out without need for paint repair.
A: We believe in making sure you know you are important to us, therefore, you will not deal with sales people or get passed around by people who don't know the answers. You will be dealing directly with the owners who have extensive knowledge of the paint process and will work closely with you to ensure that every question/concern you have is addressed. We provide you with our cell phone number so you can call us directly at any time.
